i am currently an interior design student at lds business college in salt lake city, utah and a long-distance graduate student at the sotheby's institute of art in london. i fancy pretty much all things fine & beautiful and find joy in recording them here. one day, hopefully soon, i hope to be designing & creating amazing spaces, but for now i enjoy simply learning & looking at pretty things. many thanks for visiting... become a follower below if you'd like, and please, oh please, come back soon.

no... i am not referring to myself as a 'fair peacock.' (as great as that would be!) in naming my blog, i wanted to come up with something that actually meant something. after studying art history for years, i have this innate tendency to see things at more than face value. in this case... the peacock. not only are peacocks a symbol of eternal life, but they are also a symbol of beauty reminding us to take pleasure in the finer things in life. for you see, 'the peacock is a possessor of some of the most admired human characteristics, and is a symbol of integrity and the beauty we can achieve when we endeavor to show our true colors.' these are all things i hope to one day incorporate into my home & family, and hopefully the homes & lives of others.
